The Whidbey Island Fly Fishing Club, founded in 1992, is a social organization of fly fishers, dedicated to providing our members with the resources they need to enjoy the sport of fly fishing, and to working to protect our environment and educate the public on the importance of conservation of our resources.

Coming Up

  • Executive Board Meeting: Wednesday, November 4, starting at 11:00 AM.  This will be an online meeting; look for a Zoom invitation during the week before.

  • Club Meeting: Wednesday, November 11; Socialize starting at 6:30 PM; Meeting starts at 7 PM.
    Greg Shimek, of the Coastal Cutthroat Coalition, will bring us up to date on recent research about the life cycle and movement of coastal cutthroat trout (sea-run cutthroat).  This presentation is chock full of information that will help you catch these iconic fish as well as pique your interest in helping the coalition with their ongoing work.  Look for a Zoom invitation the week before the meeting.  Anyone not on our mailing list can join the meeting with this link:
