The Whidbey Island Fly Fishing Club, founded in 1992, is a social organization of fly fishers, dedicated to providing our members with the resources they need to enjoy the sport of fly fishing, and to working to protect our environment and educate the public on the importance of conservation of our resources.

Coming Up

Executive Board Meeting: Wednesday, May 1, at 10 AM.  All members are welcome. This is a Zoom meeting; use this link to join.

Club Meeting: Wednesday, May 8, at the Greenbank Clubhouse (3090 Firehouse Road, Greenbank).  Socializing starts at 6:30 PM; meeting starts at 7:00 PM.  This month Greg Shimek, Executive Director of Coastal Cutthroat Coalition, will update us on the latest sea-run cutthroat research.

North Twin Lake Outing: Monday, May 27 - Sunday, June 2. Located on the Colville Indian Reservation, near Inchelium Washington, North Twin Lake is a wonderful fishery. The fish are large (18+"), and there are plenty of them. For those of you who enjoy eating trout, this is a put-and-take fishery, and the fish are reported as being very tasty. We stay at the Rainbow Beach Resort, which rents cabins, RV sites, and tent sites. They also rent boats. An option for this trip is a day of guided fishing on the Columbia River in British Columbia--just a short drive from the resort.
