Let's Go Fishing

Public·1 member

Plan on fishing Cranberry Lake next week.

Cranberry Lake has a number of holdover trout and should be really good now that the weather is okay. I plan on fishing next Thursday or Friday weather dependent as rain and winds dictate you using our float boats. Anyone else interested reach out to me to coordinate meeting at the boat launch. The boat launch area has very limited parking so it advisable to get there early.

Fish Ala Spit for Sea-run Cutthroat on Thursday (4/3)

The tide is right; the wind seems manageable; I'm going fishing; join me if you can.

On Thursday, April 3, I'm going to fish Ala Spit on north Whidbey Island to see if the sea-run cutthroat have shown up. I'd be pleased to have you join me. I'll arrive between 10:30 and 11:00 and fish for three or four hours. If you're new to this fishery and don't have the necessary equipment for it, let me know (mewilbert@gmail.com), and I'll bring some extra gear. All you'll need is waders and a suitable fishing license.

Fish Ala Spit on Wednesday and Lone Lake on Thursday

Since I'll be on The Island for the club meeting this Wednesday, I'm planning on arriving by 11 AM or noon to see what might be biting at Ala Spit. I'll stay over after the meeting and try my luck on Lone Lake Thursday. I'd love company either time.
