    Getting Started with Fly Fishing

    in Classes and Such

Our club has been invited to make a presentation at the Coupeville Public Library, and club member, Bob Stephens, has jumped at the chance to do an introduction to fly fishing. The class will be on March 2nd from 1:30 - 3:00 PM at the library. It is free and the library will be inviting anyone who's interested. There is no need to register. Just show up (788 Alexander St, Coupeville).

Here is the description from Bob:

Have you ever had an interest in learning to fly fish? Members of the Whidbey Island Fly Fishing Club will show you how to get started in this sport. They will show you what makes fly fishing different from other types of fishing, what equipment you need to get started, and places to fish. Weather permitting the class will be followed by an outdoor hands-on experience.
