In case you haven't heard, here's a note Steve Raymond just received from a friend:

"The current situation at Pass Lake is as follows. Pass Lake remains open to fishing. However, the parking area is closed indefinitely, making access to the lake difficult if not impossible. There is an 8 ft. wide sinkhole in the parking lot and the large culvert pipe from the lake to the road is failing and leaking. The culvert pipe was installed sometime in the mid 1970's. It is expected that the repair will take months if not longer to complete."
