WIFFC's Fine Artist

Brothers of the Angle by Bernard Mangiaracina
Brothers of the Angle by Bernard Mangiaracina

Some of you may remember Bernard Mangiaracina attending a couple of our club meetings last winter, he's away for the summer, but will return with the Tundra Swans. What I have just learned is that Bernie is a retired professor of fine arts and has begun to combine his interests in fly fishing and art. His painting, Brothers of the Angle, (left) was recently exhibited at the International Fly Fishing Festival at Castel del Sangro, in Italy. Upon returning to the U.S., Bernie learned that an enlarged print of his painting has been chosen for year-long display with the works of other artists on The Great Wall of Honesdale, in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. Please congratulate Bernie when next you see him.
