    FLY TYING GEAR

An avid Fly Fishing young friend in Seattle is wanting to get into Fly Tying. So thought I would ask the club members their ADVICE ON WHERE TO GET THE APPROPRIATE GEAR. Probably internet purchase locations would be the easiest for him to use or places in Seattle area. Thanks

Need Light at Your Tying Bench?

Neal Sims pointed out what seems a good deal if you're in the market for an LED light at your tying bench. It's sold by J Stockard Fly Fishing. Neal has had good luck shopping with them in the past. To look more closely visit https://www.jsflyfishing.com/hareline-fly-tying-led-light The advertis

Allen Fly Fishing's 2-for-1 Fly Rod Promotion

I was just made aware of this fly rod offer by Allen Fly Fishing. If you're in the market for a new rod (or two), consider checking this out. Here's Allen's pitch: "Now is the perfect time to add a couple new rods to your collection. Whether it's two of the same so you have a new main rod plus a

    Recycle old fly lines

Ran across this article about a company that recycles old fly lines. Great use as opposed to sending them to a landfill or just cluttering up your storage space.

    Pontoon boat-FREE

Paul Messner has been given a used pontoon boat and would like to pass it along to another WIFFC member that could use it. Fly Rod Deal at Walmart

Paul Messner recently found six or seven Cortland 8 wt and 9 wt fly rods in the Clearance isle of the Oak Harbor Walmart selling for a mere $15. Originally this introductory-level rod sells for $70. If you're in the market for a Steelhead or Salmon rod, check them out.
